Aliocha Imhoff & Kantuta Quiros are curators and critics. Graduated in Philosophy and Film Studies at the University Paris VIII, Kantuta Quiros and Aliocha Imhoff are the founders and artistic directors of the French curatorial platform and film distributor le peuple qui manque, created in 2005. They curated numerous curatorial projects, festivals, symposiums, retrospectives, screening exhibitions, in around 50 art centers/museums/institutions/ festivals, like the Centre Pompidou, Palais de Tokyo, CentQuatre, IMEC/Abbaye d’Ardenne, Festival d'Automne, le Lieu Unique, ENSBA, Mix New York, le BAL, Centre d’art du Parc Saint Léger, Maison Pop', and so on...
In 2010, they were guest curators of the Pompidou Center, notably as artistic directors of the international event "What is to be done ? art/film/politics".
They gave lectures at Séminaire Something you should know, Institut National d’Histoire de l’Art (INHA), Forum des Images, CAPC de Bordeaux, Centre Culturel Hongrois de Bucarest, Centre d’Analyses Stratégiques, Ecole Européenne Supérieure de l’Image d’Angoulême, Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS), La Maison Rouge, Cinémathèque Suisse, and so on and write currently for the Editions du Centre Pompidou, Editions Larousse, and rewiews like Multitudes,  Bref, Art Press...
Kantuta Quiros  worked also at the Experimental Film Department of the museum Centre Pompidou (2007-2011), was lecturer at the Université Paris VIII and responsible of the films collection of the experimental films and avant-garde videos distributor Cinédoc-Paris Films Coop. Since 2009, she's a member of the scientific comittee of the Festival Hors Piste at museum Centre Pompidou.
Aliocha Imhoff worked also for the Bureau du Soutien à la Création at the CNAP (Centre National des Arts Plastiques) and the Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin/Madrid. He has written an expert report about independent and experimental cinema for the GNCR (Groupement National des Cinémas de Recherche) and he was a collaborator for international artists like ORLAN and Xavier Veilhan.
